Spencer Cliff Fowler Jr was born in Akron, Ohio on November 28, 1989, to Spencer Cliff Fowler Sr. and Sheila Ann Fowler. He was dedicated to the Lord at Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church at an early age. Cliff graduated from Garfield High School in 2007 and earned an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Computer Information Services from Fortis College. He worked for GOJO Industries in the shipping department until he became disabled from CADASIL, a genetic brain disease.
Cliff enjoyed eating at Golden Coral with family, church picnics, and loved being mobile, but he did not like taking pictures. He liked playing chess, teaching his nieces to play chess, and driving his Chevy Cruze. Also, he enjoyed studying history and playing the trombone in the marching band. His favorite words while we prayed together were “Let the church say Amen.”
He departed this life on January 6, 2025 at Timberland Ridge Nursing Home after prolonged battle with CADASIL. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents and sister Vashti Fowler, Grandmother Augusta Fowler and nieces Nevaeh McKoy and Kaleyah McKoy and beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
