Stephanie M. Thompson–Evans, affectionately known as “Robin,” was born on July 15, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Connie Reid and Willie Reid (Deceased). She attended West Technical High School and proudly graduated with her diploma in 1985.
Stephanie married Kenneth Evans and from this union their family was lovingly built. She was a devoted mother to her children, LaTarsha Thompson, Kenyatta Thompson, and Ayesha Thompson (preceded her in death), Kenneth Thompson (preceded her in death) (Sammell).
Robin accepted Christ at an early age, and her love and faith in God were undeniable. She demonstrated her faith through the way she lived her life, showing kindness, compassion, and care to those around her.
She dedicated much of her professional life to serving others. Stephanie worked for Elijah Bryant as a Director of Senior Activities for ten years. She was also employed by Northeast Care Center and Via Quest, where she served as a Direct Support Professional Supervisor. She truly enjoyed helping and supporting those in need; however, due to declining health, she retired in 2020.
In her spare time, Robin loved spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her great joy. She also enjoyed listening to music, cooking for her loved ones, and playing games on her gaming station.
Stephanie leaves to cherish her memory, her loving mother, Connie Reid; her devoted husband, Kenneth Evans; and her brothers, Willie Thompson (Ashley), Marcus Reid, and Raeshawn Reid. She is also survived by her children Kenyatta Thompson, LaTarsha Thompson, Brandi Crayton and Brian Crayton, Daughter in law Sammell Broughton, her beloved grandchildren J-Waun LaMar, Ka-Daiza Butler, Octavia Thompson, Carlos Thompson, Kenneth Thompson Jr., Ma-Kenzie Henderson, London Bryant, Paris Bryant, Christian Broughton, and Ja’King Hodges; and her great-grandchild, India Freeman.
In addition, she leaves behind, a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
