Stephen D. McCall, Sr. 41 was born in Akron, Ohio June 10, 1976 to Wash and Rebecca S. McCall.  He departed this life January 1, 2018.

He was a graduate of John R. Buchtel High School and later attended Ohio Valley Christian University in Parkersburg, West Virginia.  He attended Start State College with studies in Criminal Justice. He also graduated from Akron Barber College.  He became an exceptional, outstanding barber in the Akron area.  He owned and operated Top Notch Barber Shop in the North Hill area for several years.  He was last employed at Distinguished Gents Barber Shop.  Stephen loved people.  He was a people person!

He was baptized into the South End Church of Christ in 1985 in Barberton, Ohio, where his father, Wash McCall served as Minister.  He attended several of the Ohio State Youth Conferences.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Lugenia Jones and Wash Sr. and Lula McCall.  He is survived by his loving mother, Rebecca S. McCall, father, Wash McCall Jr, of Copley, OH; son, Stephen D. McCall, Jr, of Akron, OH; thought of daughter, Romacia Brown; sisters, Sandra D. (David) Bowling, of Copley, OH, Vanessa G. McCall of Decatur, GA; special aunt, Celia Sanders, of Stow, OH; special cousins, Kimberly and Jeffery Sanders, of Stow, OH; close friends, Lakita Merriner, of Akron, OH, Amanda Sales, of Columbus, OH, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
