Steven “Steve” Chandler lost his battle to cancer September 29, 2021. Through it all, he kept his quick-witted humor and love for his family. Despite the pain, he was a fighter until the very end.
Steve took great joy in caring for his home and prided himself for his lawn. He loved ESPN and watching ball games with his family. Steve served in the US Air Force. After his service, he spent his professional life managing the service area of several tire companies and ended his career with Ziegler Tire Company. He took pride in helping those around him.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Annette Cothran and Robert Chandler, as well as his younger brother Michael.
He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Deanne Dimichele; beloved daughters, Jasmine and Nicole; son-in-law, Justin Barrios; grandchildren, Andrew and Gabrielle; stepchildren; Tricia and Justin; siblings, Joan, Julie, Jane and Ed; as well as a host nieces, nephews and friends.
Steve’s presence, smile and sense of humor in this world will be greatly missed. It is not goodbye, but “see you later”.
