Susan Morris was born on January 17, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Harry B. Morris Sr. and Mary Alice Ellington Morris.
Susan lived a quiet and simple life surrounded by the love and care of her family. Throughout her life, she shared a very special bond with her only brother, Harry Bliss Morris Jr., who lovingly cared for and looked after his sister for many years.
Susan and Harry were their parents’ only two children. Their bond as brother and sister remained an important part of Susan’s life. Harry preceded Susan in death on September 21, 2026, just nine days before Susan’s passing.
Although Susan’s journey through life was different from that of many others, her life had meaning and value, and she was deeply loved by those who knew and cared for her. She will be remembered with tenderness and affection and will be dearly missed.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Harry B. Morris Sr. and Mary Alice Ellington Morris, and her beloved brother, Harry Bliss Morris Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sister-in-law, Valerie Marks-Morris; her nephew, Harry “B.J.” Morris; Tonya Shy-Morris, B.J.’s mother, who remained a loving part of the family; along with extended family, caregivers, and others whose lives were touched by Susan.
May Susan now rest peacefully, reunited with her parents and her beloved brother Harry.
