Sylila Sanders Walker-Stapp went home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Stant and Mary Jane Sanders. She leaves to cherish her memory three devoted daughters, Nancy Darling (James) of Detroit, Michigan; Linda Griffin (Jerome) and Ruth Walker of Cleveland, Ohio; children, Anna Ruth Spruill (Larry); Rev. James Stapp, Jr. (Helen); Rev. Percy Stapp  (Suzanne); Mary Ann Lawson; Ella Mae McAdory; Annette Gillespie; Terry Stapp; John Stapp; Charles Stapp; Rose Stapp and Antonio Stapp (Aisha); two grandsons, Darrell Darling (Chiffon) of Powder Springs, Georgia and Demetrius Darling of Detroit, Michigan; three brothers, Alfred, Ben, and Robert Manningham of Cleveland, Ohio; one sister, Rose Woods (Thomas )of Chardon, Ohio; special cousins, Willie B. Jones of Cleveland, Ohio; Willie Robinson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Fannie Taylor, Daisy Johnson, Addie Valentine and Pearl Barnhill Fred all of Cleveland, Ohio; very good friends, Louise Richardson of Inkster, Michigan and Helen Rogers of Cleveland, Ohio; three special and devoted sisters, Dorothy Durden-Thompson (David); Esther Stiner (Frank) and Virginia Klaus; one aunt, Louisa Phillips of Aliceville, Alabama; two adopted daughters, Ann Hopkins (James) and Jean Wesley of Memphis, Tennessee one adopted son, Charlie Long; Godsons, Abraham Washington, Michael Harrison, David Moss and Roderick Gant; Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
