Sylvester Thomas went home to be with the Lord on October 15, 2016. Sylvester is survived by his wife, LaVerne; his daughters Julie Thomas and Alisa Thomas-Dempsey (Jay); Siblings Everlena Small (Willie C), Leonard Thomas (Eloise), Hector Thomas (Sweetheart), Vivian Minor (Lester), Flora Mae Roberts (Eugene); grandchildren Phillip Parker, Samantha Parker and Zachary Dempsey. Siblings that preceded him in death William Henry Thomas (Marie), Fred Thomas (Willow), and Gloria Manning (Charles)
