Tamara “Tammy” Pritchett was born on October 5th, 1967 to the parents of Sandra Simmons and Nedric Pritchett Sr. During her 57 years with us, we have been graced with her selflessness, humility, and goodwill. Tammy attended Lincoln Middle School and John Hay High School. From a very young age, Tammy had a heart of gold and a strong belief in Christ. Tammy has had a consist work ethic since the age of 14 years old with her first job being at Barnes & Noble. During her adult life, she dedicated over 25 to Kirby Co., constantly displaying fundamental beliefs such as leadership, dependency, teamwork, and commitment.
Tammy’s strong relationship with the Lord was unwavering and transcended past this world. Tammy’s missionary work was one of her many passions, dedicating her time to servicing the elderly, youth, and the sick. Her kind spirit and steadfast devotion has touched many lives.
Beloved and devoted mother of 3, Tammy dedicated her life to her loving children Pierre, Patrick and Harmonee. Tammy loved being a mother and enjoyed taking care of children. She made sure to instill her core principles; faith, responsibility, the importance of education and strength. Her beliefs will continue to shape the lives of her surviving children.
Tammy’s hobbies are a reflection of the devout values she held. Tammy loved volunteering. Tammy was disciplined in maintaining her health and wellness, regularly going to the gym and inviting others to come along. She promoted a healthy diet and a strong mind. Tammy was known to be a fashionista and enjoy fine dining with her friends and family.
Tammy was the anchor of the family, always connecting others while offering her services. Family has fond memories of Tammy consistently offering words of encouragement and affirmation at any time. Tammy was a gentle soul and served as a caregiver, specifically, to her son Pierre and her mother Sandra.
She will forever be loved and cherished by her 3 children: Pierre (proceeded in death), Patrick, and Harmonee. Her parents: Sandra and Nedric. Her siblings: Traci (Dajuan, Juvon, Chaffon, and Jibrel), Ronnie (Alexis), Renée (Aisha) and Nedric Jr (Jasmine, Jessica, Nedric III, Netae, Domonique, Benjamin, Bethany and Jeremy) and a host of cousins, family, friends and everyone else that had the pleasure of experiencing such a one of a kind soul.
