Teara D. “Lamchop” Jones was born July 1, 1972, in Akron, Ohio. She was a beautiful baby girl to her parents Bernice Jones and Chaunce Oden. She attended various high schools but graduated from Firestone CLC in 1990. She also attended the University of Akron to pursue a career in the health care field. She was a member of The Holy Temple, a church that was established by her great-grandmother Viola Jenkins. She enjoyed making people laugh, spending time with her grandbabies, going on road trips, cooking, and swimming.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary F. Jones Clay; father Chaunce Oden; sisters, Diana Dukes & Nikita Sales; uncle, Eddie Jones, aunt, Eunice Jones.
She is survived by her sons, Eddie Marcez Jones-Williams; Teheir Porter; daughter, Zaria Porter; grandchildren, Arionna and Aniyah Marie Williams; mom, Bernice Jones; sisters, Robin Ruple, Breanna Summerlin & Erica Jones Sowell; brothers, Eric Jones, and William Kennedy; brother-in-law, Jermaine Dukes, and a host of family and friends.
