Telisha Danyelle Stallworth passed away November 25, 2018.
Telisha was born on September 14, 1978, in Akron, Ohio to Anthony and Geraldine Hogan. She was a life-long resident of Akron who attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from Buchtel High School. It was there that Telisha blossomed into a lady, developed meaningful friendships and met the man she married, Corey J. Stallworth.
She and Corey united in marriage on September 12, 2003. They raised three beautiful children; Jericia, Cory and Elijah. Telisha loved her children dearly and they were her reason for living. She worked hard to instill solid values and life lessons in them. Telisha gave her life to Jesus and joined Arlington Church of God. She was employed in many capacities including accounting, customer service, and technical support. On May 19, 2018, Telisha became a grandmother and was given another reason to smile when Zayden, the apple of her eye was born!
Telisha enjoyed spending time with her children, family, and friends. She always hosted gatherings to bring the family together. She loved to see everyone fellowship. This always brightened her day. The look in her eyes was unforgettable and filled with joy during this time. Telisha was not only a mother to her own children but she viewed her nieces and nephews as her own also. She loved them so much. Telisha will always be remembered for her giving heart; she would give her last and the shirt off of her back.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Walter and Louise Rogers and Willie and Elizabeth Hogan. Her father-in-law Elbert Stallworth and uncle Maurice Williams.
Telisha is survived by her husband Corey J. Stallworth; her three children, Jericia Stallworth, Corey A. Stallworth and Elijah Stallworth; grandson, Zayden Stallworth; parents, Anthony and Geraldine Hogan; sisters, Jerita Williams (Dimitrius), Candice Hogan (Lawrence Turman); mother-in-law, Sandra Stallworth; brother-in-law, Jermell Franz (Felicia); aunt, Tracy Rogers; uncles, Jeffrey and Douglas Hogan; niece, Lauren Hogan; nephews, Dimitrius Williams, Nausior Hogan and Jordan Williams; special friends, Lanier Yarbrough and Shena O’Neil; and a host of extended family and friends
