Terance Leland Crawley was born February 28,1965 in Cleveland, Ohio to the union of the late Leon Panice Crawley Sr., and Mona (Mitchell) Crawley. On May 6th, 2018 Terance departed this life.
He was educated in the Cleveland PRIVATE Schools System at St. Joseph High School. He graduated Kent State University where he majored in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice. He is a Computer Technician graduate of the ITT Technical school.
Terance successfully held many employment roles. He served as a Law Enforcement Agent for the Lyndhurst Police Department and as General Contractor for the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Construction & Facilities Management in Ohio. He was also a Bail Bond Agent and has served as a substitute Cleveland Public Schools Teacher. In 2016, Terance was promoted and relocated to Washington D.C. for the role as a Contracting Officer for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Office of Construction and Facilities Management.
Terance excelled in sports especially in his defensive lineman position.
Terance was a devoted father to his son, Thierry Jacque Crawley (United States Air Force).
In 2011, Terance met, then Tanichia Foster, who he would ask to spend the rest of his life with on 4/23/16 and would solidify this union with on 7/29/17.
Terance leaves to mourn his wife, Tanichia Crawley; son, Thierry Crawley; stepson, Dwayne Walker; beloved mother, Mona Crawley; sister, Doretha Leola Butler of Cleveland, OH; brothers, Leon P. Crawley Jr.(Theresa), and Micheal Leon Ward (Barbara) of West Virginia; nephew, Tony C. Butler; dearly loved aunts, uncles, in laws, nieces (and great), nephews (and great), and a host of very special, important and precious cousins and friends.
