Terrance Lee Arthur Story Sr was born May 11, 1979 to Terri Story in Cleveland, Ohio.
Early in life, Terrance accepted Christ as his personal Savior when he joined Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Most recently, he occasionally attended Beth-el AME Zion Church.
Terrance received his education in the Cleveland and Shaker Heights public school systems. For a year, he also attended Saint Peter Chanel High School.
Terrance, affectionately known as Manny and T, valued family. He had a servant’s heart, and a wonderful sense of humor. Although he had no natural siblings, he grew up in a large extended family and lived with his grandmother for many years.
Terrance enjoyed working with his hands, so much so that he regularly extended his helping hands to his family and neighbors. He helped care for his partner’s parents during their decline in health and his elderly neighbor when she was unable to care for herself, to name a few.
As a child, Terrance enjoyed playing in the Cleveland Muny Football League. His humor shined when he often expressed his most memorable catchphrase – “The Situation.”
On September 6, 2020, Terrance transitioned into Glory. He leaves to mourn three children: Terrance Lee Arthur Story Jr, Trinity Love-Story, and Tyler Love-Story; his mother, Terri Story; grandmother, Alberta Story; partner, Taqwaya Love; sister-cousin, Norlynn Story Johnson; uncles, John Story (Mary) and Kevin Veal (Sheila); aunts, Sheila Morrow, Trina Clark, Renita Story, Jayna Story and Pamela Foster; great aunts, Lue-Esther Cunningham, Juanita Cheeks, Frances Hickman and a multitude of cousins and friends.
Terrance was loved immensely and will be greatly missed.
