Terri Thomas (Percyville Terry) was born January 14, 1946, on Route 22 in Mathews, Alabama, to the parents of Nathan Terry and Hazel Jackson Terry. Then as a young girl, her family moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she attended Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from Glenville High School.
Terri went on to become a very successful bank manager for Huntington Bank. Terri moved on from the bank with great courage and became an entrepreneur as the owner of Chem-TY Inc. Chem-TY became well-known in the City of Cleveland for the asbestos and lead abatement of the former Cleveland Browns Stadium and the Public Library. With her entrepreneurial success, Terri established new businesses such as a travel agency, catering company, and party center, to name a few. After retirement, she went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Baldwin Wallace University.
Terri was a loving wife to her husband, Booker T. Thomas, and a dedicated mother to Tyler R. Thomas and Candice T. Holt (Thomas). She leaves behind her grandson Antonio Tyler Thomas, sister Hazel Terry Stovall (Jerry), three brothers Jimmie Jackson (Theresa), Herbert Jackson, James Terry, and in-laws Lula P. Baldwin, Willie Thomas (Minnie).
She was also a supportive aunt to her niece Christine Terry, nephew LaShawn Terry, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
