Terry Coleman was born in 1949 to Beatrice Coleman and Lawrence Carr. He was raised in the Quincy and Central Avenue neighborhood and attended John Burrows Elementary, Washington Irving, and East Technical High School.
Terry proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corp and received several medals during his tour in Vietnam. He worked in the paint industry and retired from Day-Glo Color in 2017 after 30 years of service.
Terry was a snazzy dresser back in the day and always loved living life to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing, travelling, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kind and compassionate spirit and infectious laugh.
Terry is survived by his son Terry Coleman Jr. from his first union to Felicia, his sister Yvonne Terry, his longtime companion Holly Wilamosky, her daughter Jackie, her granddaughter Addie and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son Thaddeus Coleman from his second union to Agnes Coleman (Pat), his sister Jolie and his brothers, Earl Jr., Clyde, and Al.
Terry Coleman was a distinguished gentleman; may he rest in peace.
