Theola Mae Means passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018.

Theola was born December 27, 1940, in Newton Falls, Ohio. She was the daughter of Theodore Wise and Doretha Shaw. Theola attended Newton Falls School District and went on to study nursing.
She was an active member of Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church of Akron and the Glenville Present Truth Seventh Day Adventist of Cleveland, OH.
Theola was a registered nurse serving as a medical-surgical nurse at Akron City Hospital and a charge nurse at Akron Children’s Hospital Emergency Department until her retirement.  She loved to travel and take cruises. She loved the Lord and was a very active member of the church community, serving as an usher and a deaconess. She enjoyed taking care of others, reading and worshipping the Lord.
Theola was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Wise; mother, Doretha Wise; brothers, Henry Wise, John Wise, and Robert Wise; and sisters, Esther Wise, Thomasine Mason, and Theodora Butler.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, William Means and Ronald Means, Jr.; grandchildren, Keyla Anthony, Ronald Means III and Brandon Means; great-granddaughter Aria Means; sister-in-law, Betsy Wise (wife of John Wise); special nieces and nephews, Lucretia Williams, Michael Williams, Katrina Griffin, and Julius Griffin Sr; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
