Thomas Edward Redus peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on November 28, 1939, Thomas lived a life marked by faith, love, and devotion to his family and community. His presence, wisdom, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Thomas Edward Redus, 85, of Bedford Heights, Ohio peacefully went to be with the Lord May 18, 2025. Tom was honorably discharged from the Army Reserves and went on to serve more than three decades as a mail carrier with the U. S. Postal Service. Tom was born in Limestone County, Alabama and was the youngest of two sons born to Robert and Queen Esther Redus. He is survived by a loving family that includes Gwen Redus, their children, Terra Redus Brantley (Tony). Darrin Redus (Sadaqa), Angelique Redus McCoy (Leighton), seven grandchildren, three sisters-in-laws, two brothers-in-laws, nephews and nieces and a host of cousins and friends. His Celebration of Life will begin Thursday May 29,2025 with visitation at Calhoun Funeral Home, 23000 Rockside Road, Bedford Heights, Ohio from 4:00 -8:00p.m. Funeral services will take place the following day, May 30, 2025 at Lee Heights Community Church at 4612 Lee Road, Cleveland, OH 44128 at 10:30 a.m. A burial with full military honors will follow at Western Reserve Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
