Hello Elaine; My wife and I wanted so very much to be present with you to celebrate your father's life and legacy, but our weekend schedule prevents us from doing so. We want you to know, however, that our thoughts are with you and your other family members. May your days ahead be filled with precious memories of your father, and may you find comfort in knowing that "God is near the brokenhearted and He comforts those who are grieved in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Robert and Alruthus Dulin.

Tyhies, Maggie (Mom), Elaine and Family, I love you and I will miss Dad (that is what I have always called him and Maggie, Mom) and especially his cakes, oooh those cakes! I have known and loved you all for about 44 years now and Dad has always been such a joy and blessing. It is a blessing to know because Dad was in Christ in the earth, he is present with the Lord today. I celebrate his life with you and thankful for the privilege of having known him. When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! With all my love. Sharon

Elaine, it's Annie Mitchell Carty. I was sorry to read of the passing of Mr. Conley. He was an extraordinary man. I know you all will miss him as well as all of us that knew him. I did want to mention to you the hope God holds out in his word the Bible concerning the future of our loved ones who have died. Remember when Jesus was on earth, he resurrected his friend Lazarus, the widow of Nain's son and others. He stated that death was like a sleep and demonstrated on a small scale that the ones who have died can be awaken from their sleep-like death by means of a resurrection. In all cases, they were resurrected back to earth to continue their life as they knew it. Your father is one of the ones that can be awaken. I will try to get by to see you all on Saturday. My deepest sympathy to all of you.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Wow, how lucky I was to have you in my life for forty eight years. I am going to miss you Uncle Thurman but I thank you for all of the love, support, and wisdom you have always shown me. I couldn't have asked for a better godfather. My condolences to Aunt Maggie, Elaine, Tyhies, and rest of the family. It won't be the same when I come home to visit but I know you are in a better place. Love you!
