Tico Eugene Margerum was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on July 18, 1952, to parents Johnnie Mae Dean and Mike Bohanan, the second of four children.
He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1971.
He had a passion for fishing and golfing, and unconditionally loved his wife, Barbara, and their grandchildren.
He had a commitment to dressing well and took great pride in looking sharp.
He learned how to do electrical work and plumbing; he was an overall household handyman. He was motivated by the joy in seeing a job well done after all the progress he’d made.
In 1984, Tico met his wife, Barbara, at Seaway Foods. They were united in marriage in 1995 and enjoyed a blended family with sons Adonis and Steven T.
After 30 years, Tico retired from Seaway (now Riser).
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara, and their two sons, Adonis and Steven T.; brothers Theodore “Ted” (Barbara) and Steven, Sr., both of Cleveland, Ohio, and Marty, of Texas; Grandkids Naya, Donai, and Nina; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and other family members.
