Shirley and Curtis accept my condolences on the passing of your mother. As my ex mother in law I would talk to her at least two or three times a week. The talks we had would always made my day better. Then on Sunday faithfully singing in the choir. She convinced me to get baptized at NewTrinity. I will always think of her fondly.

Uncle Fletcher, Shirley and Curtis, I'm sorry and my heart hurts for you; it's been years. I hate that THIS is how we reconnected and that's on me. Michael called and told me. Had no clue she and uncle Fletcher had left Ohio. That said, my greatest memory is how every single morning she got up and fixed breakfast for uncle Fletcher. She rose very early every single day. I always admired that about her so, when I was living in LA and I would get discourgaed from time to time, I reflected on her example and it inspired me to get up and do what needed to be done. Another memory I have is when I went into the medicine cabinet and stole what I thought was chocolate candy... Should've known that noone keeps Hershey's in the bathroom. I love and appreciate that era of my childhood that created loving memories that I will always cherish and Tilla was a major part of that. You are loved and will be missed.-Peewee.
