Timmy Moore, also known as Timbo or Timimo, was born July 14, 1967, in Akron, Ohio, to the union of Azim Moore and Shirleen (Ewing) Moore. He attended Akron Public Schools graduating from Buchtel High School. Growing up, Timmy was raised by a Jehovah’s Witness and kept the love for Jehovah in his heart for his entire life.
Timmy met the love of his life, Sharon, and they became one in Holy Matrimony and stayed that way for the next 36 years. Together, they had 3 beautiful daughters whom he cherished along with his 3 precious grandchildren. The family was everything to Timmy.
Timmy was loved by everyone and was always only a phone call away. Timmy was so optimistic and would always express how blessed he was regardless of any situation. He would give you the shirt off his back and the shoes off his feet. His temperament explained how he became a black belt in Martial Arts, the patience and determination of a man speak volumes with such a title.
In his free time, Timmy enjoyed family outings, cooking, hand dancing, his beauty rest, and celebrating. He also enjoyed his cars, especially Cadillacs. He lived his life to the fullest by making friends and being the life of the party. He had a unique connection and shared a different bond with everyone.
Timmy passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the age of 55. He will be missed dearly by all who loved him.
Timmy is preceded in death by his mother, Shirleen (Ewing) Moore; grandparents, Jonas and Mildred Hickson; and son-in-law, Curtis “Squirt” Spears.
Left to cherish his loving memory are his wife of 36 years, Sharon Lisa Moore; daughters, Timisha A’Dream Shirleen (Derrick) Williams, Timera A’Lika Marie (Donchae) Moore, and Timiya A’Daye Sharna Moore; three heartbeats, Donchae Tyler, Sa’Riyah Spears, and Damontae Tyler; siblings, Jimmy Moore, Makeba (Henry) Davis, Sunny Moore, Cash (Ramona) Moore, and Marlon Sommerville; special brothers, Earl Davis, and Curtis (Yvonne) Moore; special sister, Tori Hopson; siblings-in-law, Evelyn Simmons, and Donald Casey; bonus sons, Toriano, Torquan, Jasmond, Lil’ Earl, and Torrod; nieces and nephews, Ruben, Rienez, Cherelle, Gene, Rika, Dink, Cash’e, Lil’ Fred, Quan, Lil’ Cash, Aarion, Day’sia, Kaylon, Rhyla, Noriyah, and Butters; cousins, Eric Moore, A’lisa Moore, Evan Moore, Gene (Bobby) Jones, Darrita Davis, and Fred Jones; best friend, Anthony Spragling; special family friends, Latitia, Hasani, Christina, and Sharmekia; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
