Timothy Gordon Banks was born September 27, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late, James and Helen Banks. Tim graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1974. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps. in 1975, where he was honorably discharged in 1979. Tim was employed at NASA as a pipefitter and later he worked at Chrysler for 11 years as a licensed pipefitter and steam engineer until he retired. During his retirement, Tim enjoyed entertaining his friends and family. He loved hosting cookouts on his deck. Food and music were two of his favorite things, he especially loved to eat. Tim was a loving person; he was a selfless giver, extremely helpful, quick to laugh, and always making jokes. He could also fix anything and was always willing to help his friends and family when he could.
Timothy passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022. He will be genuinely and deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Banks; and mother, Helen Banks (nee. Bowie).
Left to cherish his memory, sister, Pamela (Banks) Wesson; brothers, Craig Banks, and Gary Banks; niece, Kirra Sadler; nephews, Michael B. Wesson Jr. (Gladys), and Dalian Banks; companion in life, Pamela King; as well as a host of family and friends.
