Toriano Moore, also known as TJ, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2022. He was born in Akron, Ohio to his loving parents, Tori Hopson, and Jimmy Moore on March 27, 1987.
Toriano attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from Kenmore High School. Toriano joined the Navy after high school. He loved spending time with family and was a phenomenal father. He shared a special bond with the two loves of his life, his daughter, Taniaha – whom he adored, and his son, Torian – whom he took great pride in being his father.
Toriano was a carpenter by trade and was good with his hands; there was nothing he could not do. He owned a lawn care service and even a convenience store called “TJ’s Market.”
Toriano loved spending time with his favorite girl, his mom, so much that their birthdays were a day apart. Toriano loved wrestling with his nieces and nephews.
Toriano’s hobbies were lifting weights, bowling, darts, and shooting pool with his father and uncle, Cash. He also enjoyed barbequing and cooking on his pit. He was handsome and laid back, with an infectious smile.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jonas and Mildred Hickson, Minor and Elizabeth Smith, and Goldie Hopson; grandmother, Shirleen Moore; uncles, Edward Butch Smith, and Timmy Moore; and aunt, Gwen Smith.
