Tozsha A Smith, 25, of Cleveland Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2022, in Odenton, Maryland. Tozsha was born on December 23, 1996, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was an early Christmas gift and thereby, always loved the holiday colors of red and green. She had a true heart of gold and could light up any room with her bright beautiful smile. After graduating high school, she went to Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and successfully obtained a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor Psychology and Gender Studies. After college, Tozsha proudly enlisted in the United States Army as a 35S, Signals collection analysts in Fort Meade, Maryland. She always put other people first and no matter the task in front of her, her determination was unmatched.
Tozsha was very head strong and had an exuberant personality. Her voice had one setting…. LOUD and boisterous! Everyone always understood where she was coming from. No matter what, she approached life with passion. She loved her family and made sure they knew how important they were. This was evident in her love for thrift store shopping. She always brought things for the whole family.
Tozsha leaves to cherish her memory, her loving father, John Smith Sr., mother, Tamonya Young; siblings, Shaquil Young, Joshselyn Cordero- Lopez, Jachoen Young-Smith, Jaiya Young-Smith, Terrah Young, John Smith Jr., and Gina Smith; grandparents Arlecter Smith and Thomas Smith Sr.; along with uncles, aunties, cousins, and many close friends who were like family to her; as well as special extended family members Lilly Fullilove, Kieychia Likely and Alejandra Crevier.
