Tracy R. Mason was born August 7, 1966 to the late Carlos R. Artagos IV and Velma Perkins, at Mount Sinai Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
Tracy attended the Cleveland School of the Arts, excelling in singing, acting and other musical attributes. She attended Cleveland State University for Business Management and was a graduate of Hondros College for Real Estate.
Tracy was Baptized and accepted Christ at an early age. She was an active member of The Salvation Army of West Park and also worked there as a Consultant.
Tracy was about her business and was a phenomenal woman, who wore many hats. She was a treasured member of The National Congress of Black Woman, an award receiver and active member of The Learning About Me Exodus Family Foundation. Certified Master Life Coach, Entrepreneur, Certified Real Biz Coach, Founder of 2 Excel Property Sisters, a Property Manager, Neighborhood Institute Graduate, Public Speaker, Minister, Philanthropist, and Author of Pink Lemonade.
“It is what it is, till it aint” Tracy would often say, as she lived with no regret and was at peace with any situation that came her way. Tracy also known as “Raven” The Mack Mama Queen Diva Real Life Maven, spent her life working to inspire and uplift people. Her voice was powerful enough to make people believe in themselves, feel special, loved, important and feel like they belonged for a better purpose. Tracy traveled the world and touched many lives, speaking at various events. With all of her daily duties, she still made time to put her family first. Everything was done with a bright smile on her face, no matter what difficulties she was facing.
The Lord called Tracy home on January 27, 2024 after a long battle with Cancer.
Tracy was preceded in death by her father Carlos R. Artagos IV, and her precious lovely granddaughter Akari Janiya Harris-Temple (May 23, 2021- June 2, 2021)
Tracy leaves to cherish her memory, a loving, respectable, devoted husband of 31 years, Andrew C. Pinkston Sr. Her beautiful mother Velma Perkins. 5 children, Jasmine T. Harris Andrew C. Pinkston II, Kamaal I. Johnson, Kyllan P. Johnson, Kahmylle A. Johnson and bonus son K.J. Tate Johnson. Brothers: Carlos R. Artagos V, Troy (Kay) Lumpkin, Cornelius (Sherri) Hood, Marcus M. Artagos. Sisters: Lisa M. Barbee, Terri V. Mason and Anita Mason. A devoted Step-mother Vertie Price Artagos. With many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of many friends and associates. Devoted Special Friends Via Cash, Davida Haamid, Cheryl Lewis, LaRick & Patrice Calhoun, Myranda Akbar-Majid, and Wendy Roberts Barber.
