Tyrone Patrick Barbee Jr. was called home by God on January 17, 2026.
Born on March 12, 1985 at St. Alexis Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, Tyrone was the beloved son of Tyrone Barbee Sr. and Benita Smith. He received his education through the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and he attended John F. Kennedy High School.
After 20 years of being in a loving and committed relationship, Tyrone united in marriage on March 24, 2023 to the love of his life, Tineshia Givner-Barbee. Tyrone was also a dedicated and faithful husband to Tineshia. Together they shared a partnership built on love, and faith. Tyrone was a devoted and loving father to his two beautiful daughters, Ta’shja and Da’Jhane who were the pride and joy of his life.
A gifted visionary and hands-on creator, Tyrone had a deep passion for working on cars and took great pride in building food trucks. His ability to create, restore, and bring ideas to life was unmatched. This entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Brothers BBQ, Cleveland Custom Food Truck, business that reflected both his craftsmanship and his drive. Most recently Tyrone was employed with Browns Towing where he earned his AAA certification. Tyrone was known for his strong work ethic, generous heart, and his unwavering willingness to help others whenever he could.
Tyrone accepted Christ at an early age and carried his faith with him throughout his life. In recent years, he deepened his walk with God, intentionally aligning his life with the Word. Reading the bible with his wife and watching sermons together brought him closer to the spiritual relationship he had been seeking.
Tyrone leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Tineshia Givner-Barbee; his daughters, Ta’shja Statham and Da’Jhane Hancock; his parents, Benita Smith (Taurell) and Tyrone Barbee Sr., (Michelle); his brothers, Terence Barbee (Taylor) and Tyreese Barbee (Korrinthia Washington), Isaac Barbee; his sisters, Teausha Walker (Walter), and Aljalea Johnson; his mother-in-law, Marcita Durden-Caffey (Murry); his father-in-law, Steve Givner Sr., his sister-in-law, Latoya Givner, and his brother-in-law, Steve Givner Jr. He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who became family.
Tyrone was an amazing husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, and his presence will be missed by all who loved and cherished him.
