Valeria Woodward was born on March 1, 1966 in Columbia, SC. Parents were Geraldine and Charles Trapp Sr. They moved from SC to Cleveland, OH where she completed grade school and earned her high school diploma. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church and was a very spiritual person.

Val was married for 22 years to Andrew Roberts Sr. They have two beautiful daughters and a half son, Andrew Roberts Jr., who she took in as her own with no questions. She absolutely loved people. She worked for Dave’s Supermarket in the bakery as the bakery manager for 10+ years and there was no doubt that she loved her line of work and everything it came with.

Val was a very loving, caring, selfless human being. Her hobby was gift giving. She always made sure that everyone around her had what they needed. Everyone knew that her favorite time of year was Christmas. She got to shower people with all the love, gifts, and food.

Val leaves behind her daughters, Andresha and Gerrianna Roberts, six grandchildren; Reign and Riley Pelham; Lamarli, Javeah, Nakiyah, and Isiah Roberts. She has one loving brother, Charles Trapp Jr (Redd), Sister-in-Law; Akendria Ray, son in law; Ramone Pelham and five sisters in laws; Shirley, Renee, Ruby, Etta, and Rose Roberts.

Val also leaves behind a host of nephews; Charles Cheatwood (chuck), Samuel Trapp (sam), and Drevon Trapp; great nephews; Alijah Cheatwood, Charles IIII and baby Cam, and a niece; Charlie Trapp. She has a host of family and friends, here and down south who she’s leaving behind who also loves her dearly.
