Vance Triplett was born on December 13, 1951 in Cleveland, OH to Len and Elvina Triplett. He was the baby boy of 15 children.

Vance was a student of the Cleveland Public School System. He attended East Tech High School in 1970, then continued his education at Wilber Force College where he earned associate and bachelor degrees. Vance worked and retired as a Mental Health Technician from Frontline Services.

At an early age Vance accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He met the love of his life, Micheele Latimore, in 1973. From this union there were three sons: Tauras, Vanchez, and Justin. Vance had seven grandchildren with one on the way.

Vance leaves to mourn, his wife, Micheele; his three sons and seven grandchildren with one on the way; brothers Walter, Will (Jackie), and Isaac (Minie); sister Emily; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

I would like to extend my condolence to the Triplett family. Vance was and always be my dear friend. i had the pleasure to meet him in 2007 we worked side by side at the men shelter( on the night shift) he was one of my big brothers from another mother. My heart is torn i will truly miss him dearly. Keep the family lifted in prayer, To be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. Vance is resting in the arms of the lord no more pain and sorrow.
