Vaughn Cortez Richerson is the third of five children born to Anna Richerson and Robert Richerson. Born on June 10, 1956, in Akron, Ohio, he attended South High School. Vaughn then went on to serve in the Army, where he was honorably discharged in 1977.
As a free spirit, Vaughn was always on the go due to his love of travel. He was a 32nd degree Mason. He was also an avid fisherman and loved cars. He worked several years at Federated Auto Parts.
Those left to remember his life and honor his memory are wife, Annette Richerson; siblings, Joyce, Karen, Leann (Rodney) and Derek (Laray); children, Donta, Vaughn, Cortez, Jasmine, Lavon, Daviarre, Davonte, Jermaine and Tobin; a host of grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and three special grandchildren, Vaughn III, Dionna, and Deonta, along with special brothers, Buddy Stephens and Toney Morton.
