Victor Edward Robinson, Jr. was born on May 15, 1936, in Orient, Pennsylvania, to the late Victor H. Robinson, Sr. and Flossie White Robinson. He peacefully transitioned from this life on June 29, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion to family.

Victor was the fifth of seven children and spent his childhood in the small community of Orient, Pennsylvania. He cherished the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing, often accompanied by his faithful dog, Red. He attended Cardale Elementary School in Cardale, Pennsylvania, and later graduated from Redstone Senior High School in Republic, Pennsylvania. During his school years, Victor was an exceptional athlete, excelling in baseball and developing a lifelong passion for sports.

Following his graduation, Victor proudly answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He faithfully served as an Armored Crewman before receiving an honorable discharge.

After completing his military service, Victor relocated to Cleveland, Ohio, where he began a distinguished career with the United States Postal Service. As a dedicated postal carrier, he faithfully served the community for more than 30 years. Throughout his career, Victor was highly respected by both his colleagues and peers and was known for his leadership and commitment as a devoted union steward.

Victor’s love of sports continued throughout his life. He enjoyed playing baseball and was a member of a championship bowling league. He also continued to spend time hunting and fishing, hobbies that brought him great joy and peace.

One of life’s greatest blessings came when Victor met and married the love of his life, Ann Jones Robinson. Together they shared more than 63 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on love, faith, family, and lasting memories.

Following retirement, Victor and Ann embraced life’s adventures by traveling and organizing bus trips to destinations along the East Coast. In his later years, he found great happiness tending to his garden and became well known among family and friends for growing delicious tomatoes and baking his famous blackberry pies. Victor truly enjoyed life and treasured every opportunity to spend time with those he loved.

Victor was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ann Jones Robinson; his parents, Victor H. Robinson, Sr. and Flossie White Robinson; his sister, Avis Lindsey; and his five brothers, Dillard Robinson, Kenneth Robinson, Arlen Robinson, Ronald Robinson, and Roland Robinson.

He leaves to cherish his memory a host of loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were enriched by his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Victor’s legacy of hard work, integrity, service, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
