Vilee Prewitt was the second daughter born to Mageree and William Sims on January 11, 1934, in Hanceville, Alabama. She had 5 siblings: L.J., George, Viola (twin), Willie and Claire.
When their parents passed away, the siblings were split up, however Vilee and Viola moved to Cleveland. Ohio and were raised by their loving aunt Flora Mae and uncle ThomasClopton.
Vilee received her education in the Cleveland Public School Systems and graduated from John Hay High School.
Vilee married Archie Lee Herron or., and to their union 6 children were born: Thomas, Van Lee, Charles, Archie Jr., Uriah, Calvin and Alfrieka.
Vilee married a second time to Rev. Charles Prewitt, and they share a total of 7 children Joseph). They relocated to Los Angeles, California where Rev. Prewitt became Pastor and Vilee the first lady of Church of the Living God Temple 55.
Vilee was affectionately known as SWEETIE PIE by her loving husband.
Work: Some of her many jobs included: Cleveland Clinic as STNA, Caregiver, started AV Cleaning Service in 1973 to present. She also was customer service representative for various companies, lunch aid for the Cleveland Public Schools Day Care Provider, and worked at Anchor Industrial.

God called this precious soul home on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. This beautiful and devoted woman leaves a legacy of life to her husband Rev Charles Prewitt; two cousins Jewel Woods and Lerona Pratt; two sisters-in-law Esther Prewitt and Vivian Sims; seven children Alfrieka, Van Lee, Charles, Archie Jr., Uriah, Calvin, and Joseph; 22 grandchildren; a multitude of great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
