Vincent “Vinnie” Horn, Jr., was born to the union o Vincent Horn, Sr., and Nerissa Renne’ Horn on November 7, 1987 at Darnell Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas.
Vinnie was very devoted to family and had a deep love for his parents and brother Vic. Vinnie was very intelligent and earned many academic achievements from a very young age. He was as talented as he was smart! In his early years he trained to play the piano. He was very athletic and was involved in many sports from early childhood – through out his adolescent high school years. Vinnie played baseball, football, and wrestled. Vinnie had the pleasure of being coached by his father during the beginning years of his athletic career. He had a love for boxing, movies & cinema, music, and creative writing.
Vinnie began his education at the Cleveland Public School District and attended Whitney Young School. He attended Maple Heights School District from middle school and graduated in 2006.
It was there he met and began dating LaToya Stewart at the age of 16. Years later in 2011, they would welcome a baby boy on May 13, Al-Aziz Vonte’ “Prince” Rahim. He later went on to have another baby boy, Vic Royal Rahim on September 16, 2020. His two boys were the light of his eye and he loved them immensely. He loved his family and was passionate about the black community also!
Vinnie was very charismatic and had a way with words. Though he would keep to himself, he was loved and respected by so many! This is a service of remembrance in this place and at his we recognize and honor the life of Vinnie Horn in worship. We acknowledge ourselves to be God’s children. Vinnie was one such child of God. We release Vinnie with the understanding that he goes to a place of higher glory. God has received him in eternal love.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Willie and Maybell Horn, Pastor Ollie and Celestine Williams. His younger brother Victor Vonte’ Horn.
Remaining to cherish his memory always are his loving parents, his brother Teray (Amber), his two boys and their mothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of extended family and friends who loved him deeply.
Humbly Submitted,
