Walter Christburg Jr. was born July 8, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio to Walter Christburg Sr. and Nancy Christburg, both of who have proceeded him in death.  He was the brother of Eva Berry (Christburg). He departed this life at 12:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at MetroHealth Hospital.

He was married to Magaline Christburg for 54 years and out of that union bore a beautiful baby girl, Angela Christburg.

“Junior” as he was affectionately called by his family and friends graduated from John Adams High School.  In 2014 he retired from Stouffer’s.  Then, being the caring person he was, Junior, opened multiple group homes to help others.

He was an avid bowler for over 40 years in which he received many trophies.  In addition, a golfer, chess player, little league baseball coach and extremely health conscientious.  Then the 1980’s came along with the Cam Corder and VHS tapes which inspired him to become a video producer. For those who were given the privilege to participate in his prolific vision gave his family and friends joy.

Walter (Junior) leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Magaline, daughter, Angela Christburg, 6 beautiful grandchildren; Marcus, Samuel, Marquiee, (Hawailee), Amariah, Chrishawn, Walter and one great-grand daughter, Jhen’e.  Last, but not least, a loving sister, Eva Berry (Ronny B).
