Walter D. Cummings passed away on September 13, 2021, after a long battle with dementia. Walter was born May 19, 1934 in Frankford, Indiana to the late Lester and Arlene Cummings. He went on to marry Gloria Dean Cummings (Giles). Walter was the youngest out of 11 children.
Walter was a proud and loving father. He was a devoted church goer who was on the usher board. Earlier in his life he was a proud Eagle scout. Walter was a good bowler who often had tournaments each and every year. Walter later on worked at B.F. Goodrich Rubber Company which retired after almost 40 years of active service.
Walter was preceded by his wife, Gloria Dean Cummings; 8 brothers and 1 sister.
Walter is survived by his son, Walt Allen Cummings Jr.; his daughter, Judith Arlene Eldridge; sister, Virginia Bailey; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Clemintine and Bobby Williams of California; cousin, Blondedale Tang of Columbus, Ohio; a host of many grandkids, great grandkids, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Walter loved and deeply touched them all.
