Wanda Lee Holland was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on November 26, 1958 to Robert Lee Holland and Barbara Jean Holland. She was affectionately known as Wanlee. She graduated from John Hay High School in 1976.
Wanda LOVED life and was a survivor of ovarian cancer. She lived life on her own terms and her own time and made sure to live her BEST LIFE! Wanda enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, taking pictures, singing, cooking, music, and being her own person. She was a dedicated employee of Bird Technologies for more than 30 years. She had an infectious laugh. When she laughed, you couldn’t help but join in. In Wanda’s presence, a GREAT AND EPIC time was had by all.
Wanda went to be with her Lord on August 7, 2018. She is survived by her older brother, Orlando Holland (wife Gwen), and younger sister, De’Borah Holland. Wanda was not a biological mother but she had a brood of children, including nephew Avery Holland; nieces LaTora Carol, Sharleen Johnson, Shaney Williams and Iesha Holland; and great-nieces and nephews Darion Turner, Darenzo Turner Jr. (deceased), Darenzo Turner III and De’Avion Turner. Wanda is also survived by her loving Holland and Clemmons families, and by her friends who became family. She leaves all of us with special memories, warm feelings and hearts bursting with love.
