Wayne Howard Johnson was born on June 21, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Wanda (Butler) Johnson and the late Van Johnson. He married Barbara (Payne) in 1960. She preceeded him in death in 2002. He married Priscilla Hayes on July 18th, 2008.

Wayne served several years in the United States Navy. He worked 30 years for the United States Post Office. He worked for several years at Proctor and Gamble.

Wayne took great pride and joy in his family. He loved traveling, visiting many places throughout the U.S. He was also an avid bowler and enjoyed playing pinochle and dominoes with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory; wife: Priscillla Johnson; Daughter Yvonne (William Brown), granddaughters Monica and Wanda, Great-granddaughter Karina, brother: Dale Johnson (Judy), Brother-in-Law: Thomas Jackson, Jr. (Jennifer), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
