Wayne Morris Palmer was born to the late Edward Palmer and late Nettie Palmer on February 5, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from East Tech High School in 1960.
He was united in holy matrimony for 34 years to the late Dorothy Jean Palmer (nee Robinson) on July 9, 1960. To this union three children were born.
After a brief illness, he passed away on February 10, 2022. Wayne was very talented with plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work. As a pipefitter he worked at J and L Steel and then retired from General Motors to start his own businesses. He once owned and managed two apartment buildings, and the 20th Century Bowling Lanes & Bar. He was always willing to share his time, talents, and skills with anyone that needed his assistance. Wayne also loved to travel and spend time with his computers.
He leaves to cherish his memory three children Tanya Stevens (Reginald), Lamenda Williams (Don), and Devereaux Palmer (late Vivian); one brother Danny Palmer (Sirita), five grandchildren Karima Thomas (Destin), Simone Pernell (Devon), Jeremy Stevens, Brittany Williams, Vanessa Palmer (Demario Almond); eight great-grandchildren; Tyree Brand-Bey, Jaivyn Thomas, Kamari Thomas, Devin Pernell, Ramone Pernell, Chase Pernell, Kylan Almond, Amir Almond, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, his friend & companion Deborah Rice, her grandson Al, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, mother, father, and sisters Berthina Palmer, Jean Magee, and brothers Edward Palmer Jr, James Palmer, and Darryl Palmer.
