Renetta Bond I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. I have known "Junie" for the past 40 years. I met him while doing an internship at Ameritrust. He was my closest male friend and the brother I never had. I was just made aware of his death just yesterday by my sister Katrina Taylor who worked with his mother Thelma Garlington at American Greetings. I knew Lauren when she was a baby and the last time I talked to Bill he told me of her pregnancy. He was a very kind, considerate. thoughtful and compassionate friend to me. We could talk about anything and everything. He was always encouraging me. I will miss him dearly. He touched my life through our special friend unlike any other friend. My sincere condolences to his mother Thelma Garlington and Family. Coincidentally, his Uncle "Mack" worked very closely with my father for many years at the Post Office. Bill's memory and our friendship will forever be a deep part of my life and heart.

Renetta Bond- Bill's closest female friend and "Big Sis" to Junie - December 17, 2019 My condolences to Thelma Garlington and Family. I just learned of Bill's passing today through my sister (Katrina Taylor) who worked with his mother at American Greetings. In addition, another coincidence. my father worked very closely for many years with his Uncle Mack at the Post Office. I am devastated and I will miss him very much. We could /would talk about anything. I met Bill while doing an internship at Ameritrust. He was very honest, witty, generous, and very compassionate. He was always there for me despite the miles that separated us. We were friends about 40 years. The only family I met and knew are his mother and father. I knew Lauren when she was a baby and her mother Ivory. I visited when Junie lived in Anderson, Indiana. The last time that I talked to him, he told me that Lauren is pregnant. While in college, he always spoke fondly of his cousin who attended the University of Cincinnati. I regret that I missed his funeral. However, we will meet again. I did not get a chance to say goodbye. What I will miss most is the closeness we shared as friends ("Big Sis & Little Brother) Each and everytime Bill and I spoke or texted each other. I would tell him that I loved him and he would always say "I love you more. I kindly ask that a family member please call me. My name is Renetta Bond and I can be reached at (216) 618-0458. Thank you and once again my sincere condolences to his mother, Thelma Garlington and the family. He will be truly missed by all. He touched my life.
