William Robert Cooke

William Robert Cooke passed away on September 16, 2023.

William, fondly known as Billly, was born to Jason and Beatrice Cooke on December 15, 1943, in Nashville, Tennessee. Billy was an Army veteran. He married Joanne Cooke in October of 1968 in Cleveland, Ohio. They raised three children together in Warrensville Heights, Ohio.

Billy worked for the same company from 1968 until he retired in 2019. He was a family man that enjoyed family and looked forward to family reunions every year. In his earlier years, he was a Cub Scout leader and coached baseball for children. He loved bowling, yard work, and gardening. He was a loving man that would do anything he could to help people in need.

Billy is survived by his three children, Adam Cooke, Marsha Cooke, and Elaina Cooke; Grandchildren Alexandria, Adam Jr., Taylor, Timia, Briell, Ariell, and Maliyah; Great-granddaughters Amiyah and Za’rya. He is also survived by his brother, Samuel Cooke, and his sisters, Brenda Weems, Carol Reed, and Anne Cooke, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
