Wise Moore, Jr. was born on September 28, 1937, to the late Wise Moore, Sr. and Corine Moore in Columbus, Mississippi. He confessed and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the early age of eight. Raised by his grandmother, Celia Whitfield, Wise began his spiritual journey at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church.
Wise attended Union Academy High School through the tenth grade. After relocating to Akron, Ohio, he graduated from Central High School. In Akron, he and his family joined the United Baptist Church, where he served faithfully for 57 years. His roles included singing in the choir and the male chorus, teaching Sunday School, and acting as Board Chairman.
Later in life, Wise became a member of the Christ Centered Church family under the leadership of Bishop Kenneth Paramore, where he continued to share his gifts as a Leadership Educator.
Wise worked as a Parts Manager with Klaben Auto Group for 26 years, retiring in 1999. He returned to the company in 2015 and retired again in 2020.
His dedication to his faith, family, and work will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
