Yvonne Crystal Taylor, affectionately known as Bay Bay, was born October 3, 1962 to the late Dorothy “Jeannie” Taylor and Robert Allen in Cleveland, Ohio.
Yvonne attended Cleveland public schools, graduating from Glenville High school in 1981. She attended college for a couple of years then began working different jobs to take care of her children. She then started a career with CMSD’s Transportation department driving school buses in April of 1993.
Bay Bay joined SAFY in September of 1996 to begin fostering hundreds of children across Northeast Ohio. She provided great care to her bonus children from 1996 all the way up until 2021. She was very loved by many. Bay Bay would and have gave the shirt off her back to any and everyone.
Her long, courageous battle with cancer ended victoriously on May 14, 2022.
Preceding her in death was both parents, Dorothy Taylor, and Robert Allen; several aunts and uncles; and one brother, Greg.
She leaves to cherish her memory one aunt, Mildred; four sisters, Regina (Gary), Karen (Sanders), Connie (Clarence), and Beverly (James); two brothers, Carnell, and Robert; two daughters, Doneisha (Tor) and Dominique; one son/nephew, Terrell; 3 granddaughters, Domonique, Mikiya, and Taylor; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
