Yvonne Elizabeth Prade, the fifth of seven children born to Bernard and Gertrude Prade, was born on May 31, 1952, and passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025.

Yvonne was a proud graduate of Buchtel High School and Chrisma Modeling School. She later attended the University of Akron, where she studied drafting. At the age of 15, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and became a devoted member of St. John CME Episcopal Church.

Her professional career included service at The Reporter Newspaper, General Tire & Rubber Company, and the State of Ohio Unemployment Division, where she worked faithfully for 30 ½ years before retiring on July 31, 2011.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Gertrude Prade; sisters Margot Prade and Maraline McDaniel; niece Kenya Prade; and nephew Prescott Prade.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Timothy Prade; her adored granddaughter, Alyssa Yvonne Prade of Lorain, Ohio; sisters Caralynn Prade and Patricia Prade of Houston, Texas; brothers Douglas Prade of Columbus, Ohio, and Pierre Prade of Akron, Ohio; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends from Cleveland and Akron.

Yvonne found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including dining at Red Lobster and savoring lobster and crab legs. She will be remembered for her faith, her devotion to family, and her warm spirit that touched all who knew her.
