Yvonne Williams was born April 15, 1948 born to Mack and Frances Cole-Williams in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. She was one of 6 children in the household and attended the Chartiers Houston School District in Pennsylvania. She graduated from Chartiers Houston High School in 1966 and was ready to start a family and pursue a working career in the Nursing field.

Yvonne fell madly in love with Rubin Johnson and shortly after the two decided to get married. God blessed to their union of 52 years, two children, Timothy L. Johnson and Tammy Lynn Johnson (deceased).

Yvonne was an employee of Hamlet Manor for over 20 years. She loved helping others and dedicated her life to being in the Nursing Field for over 30 years. During her personal time, Yvonne ALWAYS had a book open as she would routinely read up to two books weekly!!! Yvonne also had a passion for crocheting making a quilt or other creative ideas that would come to mind.

Yvonne Williams-Johnson left this earth on January 26, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents Mack and Frances Cole-Williams; daughter Tammy Lynn Johnson; sisters Mary Frances Williams and Loraine H. Williams-Roberson; brother Mack H. “Sugar” Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her husband Rubin Johnson; son Timothy L. Johnson; Her brother Joseph E. Williams of Beaver Falls, PA; her sister Toni D. Williams-Thomas of Las Vegas NV; grandchildren Ruben Johnson and Quashawn Johnson both of Ohio, Brittany, Kylie and Daden Johnson all from Uniontown PA; great grandchild X’zayvian Johnson; and a host of intermediate family, friends, and relatives.
