Obituary for Yvonne Michele “Bunny” Herron
Yvonne Michele Herron, lovingly known to family and friends as “Bunny,” was born on February 13, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Cora and E.B. Herron. She peacefully departed this life on October 11, 2025, surrounded by love.
Bunny was a proud graduate of Shaw High School, where her vibrant personality and strong will shined through in all she did. She was baptized at St. Timothy Missionary Baptist Church, where she began her lifelong journey of faith.
With a strong sense of duty and commitment, Bunny served honorably in the United States Army for four years, demonstrating courage, resilience, and dedication. After her service, she continued a life of hard work and purpose through her career with the United States Postal Service.
Bunny had a lively spirit and a love for life that touched everyone around her. She enjoyed sports, gambling, shopping, and taking trips, but her greatest joy came from time spent with family and friends. Her laughter, honesty, and strength left an unforgettable mark on every heart she encountered.
Bunny was preceded in death by two aunts, Berzenia Mobley, and Mary Key (Woodrow); one uncle, James Owens(Mariah); one sister, Sandra Herron; two brothers, Arthur and Carl Turner; two cousins Willie Owens and Gloria McClendon.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Kenisha Williams; her loving brothers, Anthony Herron (Tracy) and Victor Herron; her loving nieces and nephews — Alan Jr, Jenae, Keela (Anthony),Robert, DonJuan (Chena), Jordan, Stacy, Amar, Kaylee, and Kareem; and cherished cousins —Doug, Darryl (Andrea), Jeff (Carolyn), Sheila, and Janet (Billy). Bunny will also be remembered by a host of friends and extended family who loved her dearly.
Though she has departed this earthly life, Bunny’s spirit of kindness, strength, and humor will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
