Yvonne Richardson went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 after a long and fruitful life.  Yvonne was born in Montgomery, AL to the late Charles and Minnie Lewis.  She was the first born of 5 children.  Yvonne graduated from South High School. She also attended The University of Akron.  She worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 20 years as a Payroll Clerk and she worked for Motor Wheel Company for 5 years.  She was a sister of the Akron Elks Club.  Her favorite pastime was cooking.  Her most requested recipe was mac and cheese. Her favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yvonne enjoyed mentoring young women and men.  She also loved people and being around her family.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Minnie Lewis; brother, Donald and Dennis Lewis; nephew, Rashan Lewis.

Yvonne is survived by son Cedric (Dionne) Richardson Sr., brothers, Eugene (Levonia) Lewis, Calvin ( Kimberly) Lewis; grandson, Cedric (Shanae) Richardson Jr., Michael Richardson; granddaughter, Rashanda Richardson; great-grandchildren, Carteon, Eliza, Ezra, Camille and Caleb Richardson; nephews, Eugene and Charles Lewis, Bryan (Tara) Lewis-Dalco; nieces,  Latokia Lewis; special son, Kenny Stokes; former husband, James Richardson and a host of other relatives and friends.
