Zohra Anah Dembele Alou went home to be with the Lord and gained her wings Thursday, January 26, 2023. Zohra was born in Cleveland, OH on November 20, 2018, and is the daughter of Anastasia Bogard and Dembele Ibrahim Alou. Zohra is loved immensely by her mother, father, grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins, friends, teachers, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. To know Zohra is to love Zohra!
Zohra was diagnosed with Autism at the mere of 2 and since then she broke down walls, barriers and stigmas that told her what she could do and what she couldn’t do. Zohra became verbal at the age of 3 years old and learned to speak her mind. She would often burst out and sing “Happy, happy, joy, joy”, to let those around her know that she indeed was happy and joyful. She attended Euclid Early Learning Village for preschool, which she absolutely and utterly loved. Zohra also attended daycare at Excel Academy, where she laughed and played with friends whenever her little heart desired. Zohra attended weekly speech therapy, that she looked forward to every Monday. She also had ABA therapy with Epicenter ABA, that helped Zohra blossom into the butterfly she is today. Zohra was extremely smart, always reciting the alphabet as education was her mantra. At her young age, she even knew how to read, count, the colors, shapes, write her name, spell her name and the first letter of any word you threw at her. She truly was a wiz kid in her own right! Zohra loved spending time at the playground, riding her bike, playing with her toys, water parks, arcades, and watching her favorite tv shows. Her absolute favorite pass time was reading a good book about the Alphabet! She had a great love for food, she never stopped eating, you could always find Zohra munching on an apple. Zohra is the epitome of love and happiness, always running around with a huge smile on her face, dancing, playing, laughing and just enjoying her life by all means because somehow, she knew it was necessary.
As Zohra enters into her journey of everlasting life, she leaves behind her mother Anastasia Bogard, father Dembele Ibrahim Alou, grandfather Andre Bogard, grandmothers Kimberly Bogard and Aissatou Zerbo Djibo, step grandfather Mahamadou Djibo, aunts Charde Bogard, D’ebony Bogard, Debra Garner, Tiara Watkins, Amina Alou Dembele, Brianna Watkins, Marleesha Ouagadrago, uncles Andre Watkins, Dontinous Garner, Omar Kabor, Mamadou Dembele Alou, Ali Tiemtore, cousins Imaniy Watkins, Rashaad Goins, Brooklyn Morgan, Dennis Morgan Jr., Treinity Parks, Precious Gray, Raquell Parks, Raphael Parks Jr., Dontinous Garner Jr. and Amadiya Garner, Ahfia Alou Dembele, Neila Inayah Alou Dembele, Dalila Solawath Imane Goita.
